a consideration

I'm considering going forward with this blog. I'd like it to be a group blog, so if you are interested in writing with me, let me know. My e-mail address is socialvoice@gmail.com

The purpose of this blog is to delve into issues of teaching and social justice.

definitely interested in this subject matter. I know that my sneaker teacher blog has a very different tone than your other blog, but if you think I am a match for what you are looking for then I would love to contribute.
Let me know

Very cool!

I think a difference in style and tone are not a bad thing. I know when I wrote my "tv and teaching" blog, my own style and tone became a little more practical and direct. I believe writers can use different styles and still continue with their unique voice.

If you send me your blogger e-mail (my e-mail is socialvoice@gmail.com) I can send you a "blog author" invite.

blogging addiction going here then.

i see. or rather the *two*... that i
actually know about... the artwork
in that social voice one was *very*
familiar...)

what the heck. i'm in if you like.
stand by for email.

Yes, I stole one of the Social Voice icons (discussions) for my blog and I stole one of my icons (slideshow) for my blog. I also used two or three of our class discussion questions (created by the students). I think I borrowed a few other icons they created. That's the benefit of posting all work in a Creative Commons

:)

Though I wonder sometimes if I should give credit to the students somewhere on my blog. Or is that being too much like a parent who has to stick work on their fridge all the time?

Either way, I'd be honored if you put work on this blog. I think you have a unique perspective.

I do think it's funny how similar the artwork is on our top logos - the Social Voice one and the Musings from a Not-So-Master Teacher. It makes me wonder if I've influenced the students in graphic design or if they've influenced me in a more "urban" look.
